ATLANTA - McCain will be hurt by his admission that he does not know how many houses he owns, commentators said.

McCain’s idea of a home mortgage crisis is when his wife won’t buy him another house.
McCain is totally 'out of touch.

The dispute arose on Wednesday when McCain was asked by the Politico newspaper how many houses he owns with his wife Cindy, a wealthy heiress to a beer distributorship.

"I think -- I'll have my staff get to you," McCain replied.

"It's condominiums where -- I have Alzheimer’s disease – I’ll have them get to you."
